Shipping policy

DELIVERY TIMES

We are a small team working from a limited space. We will always do our best to attend to your order promptly and will communicate if for some reason your delivery is delayed.

Orders will be dispatched as soon as they are ready, separately from any other item you might order. We aim to deliver your item within the following times:

UK: 1-2 weeks

Europe: 2-4 weeks

Rest of World: 2-4 weeks

Lead times quoted are given in good faith. They are based on the best available information from our suppliers at time of purchase. Where any delay occurs we will notify you by email at the earliest opportunity.

If the delivery time frame has passed and you’re still waiting for something from your order, please contact us at shop@gilbertandgeorgecentre.org and we’ll investigate for you.

 

DELIVERY COSTS

You can check the delivery cost of your order by adding items to your cart and proceeding to 'View My Cart'. In this section, you can proceed to 'Checkout' where you select if you would like your order to be sent and check the relevant costs. You can also change the delivery destination of the order.


LIMITED EDITIONS

We aim to deliver any Limited Edition works within 2-4 weeks. These times are subject to change as due to our limited space, we may have to order packaging materials before we can fulfil your order. Where any delay occurs we will notify you by email at the earliest opportunity.

Our delivery costs include packaging materials to protect the works and a door-to-door courier service.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship to over 150 countries worldwide. Please see the DUTIES, TAX AND SERVICE CHARGES section below for more information on these deliveries.

Deliveries to non-EU countries within Europe may also be subject to unforeseen delays as they pass through EU countries. If you made an order more than 4 weeks ago and still haven’t received your delivery, please contact us at shop@gilbertandgeorgecentre.org and we’ll get in touch with our courier partners.

We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.

DUTIES, TAX AND SERVICE CHARGES

If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance.

As our Limited Editions are specially packaged, they will be shipped separately from other items. Some of our books and posters may also be shipped separately due to the packaging and to make sure your order arrives in a timely manner in the best condition. If your order is shipped separately, you will receive separate customs clearance bills for each delivery - the clearance charge is calculated per item, so you do not pay more than you would for the same items in a single delivery. However, please note that your country’s customs office may also apply a small administration fee to each delivery.

Please be aware that customs policies vary widely from country to country and we advise you to contact your local customs office for further information.

Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by custom authorities.
